Spectacle Island—View from the Camp

Spectacle Island is the closest island to the Camp. About a half mile out from the mouth of the cove, it\s home to a large colony of seagulls. It's an easy row out to Spectacle. At low tide, you can gather mussels from the ocean side and walk across the low bar that separates the eastern end of the island from the western. At high tide, that bar is completely under water.
