Map and Directions to Hiram Blake Camp

From Bar Harbor and Ellsworth

1. Take routes 172 from Ellsworth through Surry towards Blue Hill
2. At Blue Hill Village go straight on route 15 towards Brooksville
3. At the “T” turn right onto 176 west.
4. Continue approx. 5 miles to C & G Growers (greenhouses & Gulf Station) Take a left on 176 west towards Brooksville.
5. Go 1.1 miles past reversing falls, and turn right on 176 west at the “T”.
6. Continue 5.5 miles on 176 west and take right onto Cape Rosier Road. Look for signs for Holbrook Island Sanctuary and Hiram Blake Camp.
7. Go 4 miles on the Cape Rosier Road. You will come to another “T”. Look for the Rainbow/Rosier grange hall. (shingled building with gambrel roof.)
8. Take a left at the “T” onto Weir Cove Road. Hiram Blake Camp is 1 mile down on Weir Cove Road. Turn left into the driveway.

From Bucksport

1. Take routes 1 and 3 from Bucksport toward Ellsworth.
2. Four miles east of Bucksport, take a right on 15, leaving 1 and 3
3. Continue 3.8 miles and turn right on 199. (Cemetary)
4. Continue 5.2 miles to town of Penobscot where 199 hits 175 at a “T”. Take a left on 175 towards Sedgwick and Brooksville.
5. Continue 5.0 miles to right turn by Gulf station and greenhouse. Turn right on 176 west and 175 south.
6. Go 1.1 miles past reversing falls, and turn right on 176 west at the “T”.
