Kayak Rentals
Getting out on the water is one of our favorite ways to experience this beautiful part of Maine.
We have a variety of kayak styles to choose from provided with paddles, life vests, and safety whistles for your convenience. All of our kayaks are rented on a weekly basis, and we handle transporting your rental down to Pebble Beach so you have an easy entry and exit to the water.
Your rental will be added to your bill at the end of your stay, no need to pay up front.
We know these waters well and are happy to suggest islands for picnics, ledges where seals sunbathe, or general guidance for navigating this coastline.
You are also welcome to bring your own kayak and store it on our beach at no additional cost. If bringing your own watercraft, you are responsible for loading, unloading and securing it on the beach.

Manitou 14', by Necky Red ocean-style kayaks with a retracting skeg for excellent tracking on open water. These kayaks have excellent dynamics and are easy to paddle. A guest favorite. [5 available]
Dirigo 14', by Old Town These 14-foot kayaks are sturdy, well-designed, and easy to paddle. They are very similar to our popular Nantuckets, and Nantucket lovers will feel very much at home in the Dirigo. They have a larger cockpit than the 14-foot Necky, making them easier to get in and out of. [2 available]
Nantucket, by Old Town This model was replaced by the Dirigo. They are 14ft. long and the cockpit is a bit larger than the Necky making them easier to get in and out of. We have enjoyed these for a few years. They are in beautiful shape, well designed and paddle easily; a nice basic design and a sturdy boat. [2 available]
Tandem II, by Necky These newer tandems have an excellent design with separate cockpits, making them a safer boat in choppy water. Rudders are included and are important in a tandem for steering and easy tracking. [2 available]
Tsunami, by Wilderness Systems These are all relatively new and are 14ft. in length. They are a well-designed and well-made ocean-styled kayak. They are relatively light weight and track very well. [2 available]
Kayak by Perception An older member of our fleet – and still in great shape. This kayak has been paddled all over Penobscot Bay. It’s 14 feet long and a nice ocean-style kayak. [1 available]
Otter by Old Town The Otter is designed for a child and is suitable for paddling in the cove and along the shoreline. Well-loved, often used and still in great shape. [1 available]
