Our Work
We are seeking help in our dining hall during the High Season (June 27th through September 5th), as well as assistance with cleaning and housekeeping on weekends. Cottage cleaning shifts are on weekends from Memorial Day through Indigenous People’s Day.
Our dining hall serves a continental breakfast Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, and we offer a family-style dinner at 6 PM sharp on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, instead of dinner, we host an outdoor Lobster Picnic at 12 PM. Meals are provided during each shift, and roles are assigned based on experience and work preferences.
We turn over our cottages on weekends—we clean half the rentals on Saturdays and the other half on Sundays. Guests check out by 10 AM, and new arrivals are welcomed starting at 4 PM. To manage the workload efficiently, we organize into cleaning teams on weekends, with a midday lunch break.

Expectations and Shifts:
Dining Hall Staff– Setting the tables for breakfast or dinner, assisting with final meal prep, dishwashing and maintaining general cleanliness of the kitchen, serving guests, bussing tables, cleaning the dining hall and closing the kitchen at the end of the shift. During downtime there are additional housekeeping tasks such as laundry, compost and trash removal and prep for weekend cottage turnover.
Weekend Cottage Cleaning- Dusting, window washing, distributing linens and bed making, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and floors, shoveling wood stoves, stocking wood boxes and trash removal. These duties are divided up into teams to help make the workload more manageable.
Breakfast Shift- Monday through Friday: 7am-11am (includes break for breakfast)
Dinner Shift– Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 5pm-9pm (includes break for dinner)
Picnic Shift- Wednesdays 11am-3pm (includes break for lunch)
Weekend Shift– Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm (includes break for lunch)
